Last May 2025, we hosted and produced our first exhibition with our friend and interior designer, Ryan Fernandes, who curated the event. We had the pleasure to showcase the beautiful pieces of 17 local artists and makers, along with Sarah Nedovic, Martyn Thompson, Emma Shepherd (Sundance Studio), Ryan L. Foote, Moya Delany, Andrew Hustwaite, Paul Vizzari…
Over ten days, we welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors. The response from the design community was overwhelming, and we hope you left feeling as inspired as we did.

CRAFTED MADE BY MORGEN | COLLECTION 03
Each piece in this new collection features an understated design that emphasizes exceptional craftsmanship and subtle detailing. They are meticulously crafted by hand, using carefully selected materials to ensure the highest quality. The collection was commissioned by a client who was impressed by some prototypes and wanted furniture that complemented their new home, designed by Rob Kennon Architects. The neutral color palette and layered design create depth and visual interest, while the visual lightness of the pieces adds elegance and refinement. A number of pieces utilize the traditional technique of woven Danish cord, providing the furniture with a warm and textural feel. Made by Morgen's design philosophy of exposed joinery and subtle detailing is evident in the use of solid timber for the construction of the furniture.

Morgen and Sandford sees the coming together of furniture designers and makers, Nick McDonald and Charles Sandford. Made by Morgen has mastered this art form, seamlessly blending Scandinavian design principles with its unique creative vision.
