The Local Project and The Local Production HEADQUARTERS BY Tom Robertson Architects.
We had the pleasure of collaborating again with The Local Project on custom desks and joinery for the new headquarters of their recently established full-service agency, The Local Production. Housed in the shell of a former Hawker de Havilland aircraft manufacturing complex in Alexandria – the suburb is now a busy hub for creative practices and studios – the offices seamlessly blend into the location’s identity.
The brief was clear: “Create a series of workspaces for a young and vibrant workforce – a collaborative environment that employees would be proud to work within,” says Tom Robertson, director at Tom Robertson Architects.
Made By Morgen was offered the opportunity to create bespoke work zones. The result? A warm-toned solid timber desk with integrated cable management and soft, curved edges—subtle, smart, and seriously satisfying to sit at.
