The classic Roman travertine is a durable, resistant, and compact natural stone, used both as a building material and for decoration, suitable for indoor and outdoor settings. It is a type of marble that has been used since ancient Rome for architectural works due to its various colours and technical properties. This sedimentary stone exhibits excellent resistance to acid attack, temperature variations, heat, atmospheric conditions, and chemical agents, with a porosity that is not permeable to water. It requires minimal maintenance because of its extreme durability over time, making it ideal for any context and application.

We recommend wiping the surface with a clean, dry cloth weekly. If spots cannot be removed with a dry cloth, use a clean cloth soaked in clean water and wrung well. Always use coasters for drinkware and vases to avoid ring marks. Do not use any oils or furniture polishes on our Marble or Stone pieces.
